Sooo... Pompée has been killed... Then César is murdered by his own son... When Caligula has been killed. His uncle is murdered by his wife, Agrippine. Néron, her son, incite his preceptor, Sénèque, to commit suicide.. He will then kill himself !
Well... that's not so funny !

3 streets arrive to Piazza del Popolo : via del Babouino's name comes from an ugly statue found in the street.
These streets are the perfect shopping place...
On the other side of the piazza is El Pincio, one of the 7 hills of Roma.
Very typical.
On the hill you can find a park, with fountains. Very typical.
Actually, anywhere you look at in Roma is "very typical"... and that's not just touritic speech, that's true !

The Trajan colonna tells the story of the emperor on a spiraling-up frieze... The statue of Trajan was replaced by a statue of Saint Pierre.... !
Ghesu's Church : its façade announces baroque period (movment, colonnas instead of pilasters emphacizing shadows and light). The façade is so huge that it hides the dome. And inside, it's... inside it's ... !!! unbelievable !!!
Every famous roman family has a blazon
5 balls and one full of lilies... that's ... that's... well I can't remember the family it represents !

This monument was built thanks to king Victor Emmanuel II to celebrate the unification of Italy (1870), and its new capital : Roma !
Its design is much debated : it's nicknamed "the writing machine", "the denture" or "wedding cake"... !!
And the moustache of the statue of Victor Emmanuel II is about one meter long !
